So I might have gone a little overboard this month when it came to book-buying. To be fair, most of these were on sale so I felt compelled to buy them. As a result, I have ten books to share with you today.

As the years come to a close, I enjoy reminiscing on the books I’ve read over the past year. Thankfully, Goodreads tracks my reading habits and spits out statistics on how many words I read, hours of reading, and more.

After a stressful couple of months, I have finally finished another book. It’s been a long time coming, and this book was worth it.

If you’re the type of person to read books regularly, you’ve probably experienced the dreaded reading slump. Reading slumps are periods where the reader can’t get into the books they’re reading or don’t feel like reading.

Most of us who read and watch TV shows do it because we enjoy it. Entertainment is there for consumers to be entertained.

Welcome back! Let’s talk about books. Authors love to write dramatic and heart-racing scenes in their books, and as readers, we gobble up everything they can give us.

Since I’ve been reading from a young age, books have helped me realize who I am, what I value, and how I want to live my life. They give me the inspiration to do better and forgive myself for my shortcomings.

My blood has been boiling over this for years. Many of us adore fan-fiction on our favorite sites, including Archive of Our Own, Wattpad, and Fanfiction.net. These sites are platforms for amateur writers to show their work and love for other TV shows, books, and movies.

Now before we get into the article, I must say that I love romance in books. Romance as a side plot to an adventure story is my cup of tea. In my experience, it’s been somewhat difficult to find stories that are romance-free.

There are so many great books and not enough time to read them. Even if we try our best, we cannot finish them all. As unfortunate as that is, we readers strive to get through as many books as we can.

As readers, we have a select number of books that we cannot get over. No matter how many good books we read, our favorites will always come back to comfort us. I am grateful for my favorite books because they lift me when I feel down.

I am back with another book review! This time, I read a graphic novel that I adored. Magical realism meets some good sapphic representations and moments that chilled me to the bone. The first section will be a spoiler-free synopsis, and then I’ll talk more about the plot, which will have spoilers.
